Brembo Caliper Covers

So what is everyones thoughts and opinions on Brembo caliper covers??

I found some at HP Racing(car shop here) and they are for cavaliers. They are made of good quality and really look nice. They weren't cheap, $89.00.

I know it's far from the real thing but this fits my budget range as of now. They even sell them for mustangs so I figured If they sell them for those kinds of cars they must be good.

So let me know what you think and thanks alot.

Re: Brembo Caliper Covers

why would you want that? thats like taking a picture of your cat and telling everyone you own a lion. if you just flash them the picture they will think its cool but anyone who looks at it for more than half a second will laugh their as off. just my 2 cents

Re: Brembo Caliper Covers

Ive been thinking about doing that too. I wanted Either lime green or Red. Think it would be ok to just cover everything else with a towel. Or should i actually take the caliper off, just had to re bleed the breaks to put them back on.

Re: Brembo Caliper Covers

I would personally remove the calipers to paint them. Mainly because I would sand them smooth all around and it would be a PITA kneeling down for that long (don't want brake dust/grease/road debris under the paint). It's hardly any work to take them off, and 99% of the time you'll be fine just gravity-bleeding the brakes as long as the lines don't run dry.

Re: Brembo Caliper Covers

i painted mine on the car(I did it for rust protection), however i got some on the calipers and they smelled and smoked something terrible. I used the right paint.. just don't get it on the calipers
