Ball joint ?

I'm going to change my upper and lower ball joints and I'm going to use Moog ball joints.

The ? I have is caI press Moog Lower Ball joints in the original Ford lower control arms? or do I have to buy the Moog lower control arms?

Re: Ball joint ?

The ball joints should press into the Ford Control arms.

The uppers, you replace the whole upper a frame with the ball joints installed and you cannot press the old ones out.

Re: Ball joint ?

I think it depends on the year. All I found on ebay was 1996. The 2000 had two lower ball joints and upper control arm.

Re: Ball joint ?

The upper is expensive because the upper control arm gets replaced(1997 and up) and the lower is cheaper. Also have an alignment done when the job is done, the camber setting in the upper control arm
