Phantom Battery Drain

I've got a 1997 Mustang Cobra and am the original owner. About six to eight months ago, the car wouldn't start and the battery was dead. We replaced the battery and all was good. Last month, the same situation happened and we decided to figure out what was causing the problem.

We removed the alternator and took it to a car shop for testing. The alternator was fine. OK, we put it back in, charge the battery with a portable charger overnight. Car starts fine the next morning. I drive it to the Ford dealership to see if they can figure out the problem. One week later, they say everything tests out fine. The car behaves normally for a few weeks then this morning it happens again. I've even checked for interior lights staying on, etc. to no avail.

Does anyone have any clue what else could be causing this problem?
