have your wheel speed sensors inspected that will most likely be the problem on abs

Re: 1994 K2500 sub, need ABS code descriptions

Here is how this started, one of my batteries shorted out internal last winter, and the other was dead, Before I knew it was shorted I was charging them jump starting when I noticed the ABS hydraulic unit cycling very slow on the self test. Anyway once the batteies were replaced I now get the yellow antilock light at 18 mph and every once in a while Iget the red brake warning light, brakes work fine but not antilock and no cruise CC. And like I said before codes in this order 13, 81 & 86, I cleared them and they came back13 as soon as key was turned on and 86 when driving and 81 as soon as the red light came on. The diagnostics for these indicated bad control module, except one book says 13 means brake depressure during code retreval which they were not. ALso one book says control module is located above the hydraulic unit but it is not, another book says ABS controlled by ECU and last but not least I found a control module in Rock auto but have not yet found it on the vehicle. It looks like in 1994 there were a lot of mid year changes that confuse the whole issue. Not to mention this is a stillen factory conversion with a later addition 502 ramjet. Anyway before the battery episode the ABS worked and the CC worked and really all I care about is getting the CC back, if that fixes the ABS then great but not necessary. Anyway any advise on this control module location or these symptoms would be appreciated. Just FYI it has pretty much stumped the JUsTASK guys!
