1997 malibu 2.4 head gasket

i am working on a 97 mal. 2.4l and am having trouble with last 2 head bolts rear timing chain cover sits over them how do i get the rear cover off chilton book says nothing about it please help need done asap need the car back on the road thank you in advance

I assume you got it off by now, but I think it is similar to the Grand Am.
