![]() Thats funny. I had no issues running a DHP v1.0 PCM with a 3.25" SC pulley, of course with supporting mods. I now have a custom programmed Intense. These v1.0 PCMs are programmed to go as low as 3.20-3.25" on SC pulleys. Check the specs at the link you provided at 3800Performance which has a typo. www.3800performance.com

Re: rookie f#$k up
No issues here either (check mods in sig). I was running a 1.0 for a while but I have never went any lower than a 3.4 pulley.
Maybe he should look into a powertuner (for the cost of a PCM with 2.0 bin on it).

Re: rookie f#$k up
doctor, you don't have to be rude and call him a retard, it's a valid question...
![]() Just kidding, KR (knock retard) is created when the PCM detects knock often caused by pre-ignition, and retards timing to try to eliminate it. This situation will be amplified by running a smaller pulley (and your other mods) due to the increased boost. KR reduces performance and is an indicator that there is a possible problem that could cause engine damage if not rectified. Lastly, with the mods you're talking, don't even think about running less than 91 octane.

Re: rookie f#$k up
KR monitoring software is the best way to monitor it
Pre-ignition knock/ping is a "marbles in a coffee can" type of sound you may hear during hard accelleration. You may or may not have any knock or KR, it all depends on your combination. Ideally, you want 0 knock and 0 KR. Monitoring software like a scan tool, power programmer or auto-tap would be helpful. did you read posts 2-4? You have 3 answers right there. Post 2 and 4 stated that a 1.0 may not be optimal for your setup, and suggested a more aggressive tuning option. Post 3 says it will work and even gives you a like to a website referencing it.
