Question a/c only blows under dash..

i have a 1985 s10 blazer 2.8 v6 automatic 2wd. there is no computer in my vehicle. my a/c only blows under the dash. i just recently fixed this problem on my girlfriends mustang, which was a vacuum leak. my question is "does the 85 blazers blend doors work the same way? if so r there any images i can go off of? seeing as there are millions of vacuum lines under the hood. i cant see which line would run to the a/c. thank you very much.

since this is very old 80's vehicle you may need to replace a lot of vac lines...

using a vac guage you will be able to find these leaks...
normally these lines fail after 10 years as the rubber starts to crack..

the a/c is only a minor problem ....dirty air is entering the engine when you have these leaks...also you loose power..

they did not use step motors back in the 80's...it was vac controlled..
this could even be the control switch,,,which is a valve..

Re: a/c only blows under dash..

is there a diagram i can go off of. I recently replaced the valve cover gaskets and had to re move a lot of the lines to get to them. im not sure that i got them all back in place. on top of that the person who owned it before me did absolutely no maintenence on the vehicle and there are lines that r suppose to be there that r obsolete. thanks again.

I have repair manuals for 70's 80's vehicles but not S10..

I'll check for the engine you have..maybe it will be similar with a car appl/...
