1995 Chevy 2500 keyless entry
Hi,
I have a 1995 Chevy 2500 pickup. It has power door locks but does not have keyless entry at this time. What is needed to make this remote keyless entry? A plug in module that could be obtained from a salvage yard perhaps??? Thanks

I faced the same problem back in October 2008....
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=924674 You can call the local dealership and from your VIN they can tell you if your truck was equipped with remote door locks. If not, you'll have to do what I did and have a remote lock system installed. I ended up getting a Directed Electronics/Viper keyless entry and remote start system installed...cost me $200 installed at Best Buy, $60 of it for remote start option. Hope this helps!
