BCM part interchangeability??

I have determined that the BCM on my 1999 T+C has caused my wipers to stop working. Does anyone know the interchangeability of bcm's within the same year? The part number of mine is 4686492AD, but all the ones I've found are 4686492AE. Will the latter part work as a replacement? Both are supposed to be for a 1999 T+C with 3.8l.

ps- if someone knows a way to bypass the BCM to run the wipers, I'd love to hear about that too!
