car dies when i come to a stop at a light or just sitting there in park....??

got a '96 240 se, auto. started doing this a month ago, took it in, coudlnt find anything wrong... ran fine after i got it back, than it started happening again. revs fall from 800 to 500 than jump up and down and eventually to 0 and stalls out. starts fine, sometimes will die right after start, but allways starts. can pput in N and rev to keep started but anyone know what could be goin on? please help!!!

Check your injectors, they could be clogged.

So take them out and clean them. Also check the idle position sensor and screw and such. Could be bad and the screw could have moved.

Bet it turned out to be ur tcc, and ur trans is starting to melt because the oil cooler got clogged(auto trans right?) happens all the time
