1987 Trans AM 5.7

I currently have a 5.7 Trans Am. It has honeycomb wheels from the factory. This is a two tone red and silver factory car. It has the look of a GTA. Has most GTA options from factory. Would like to sell. This car has 146,000 original miles on the original engine. I need to sell. It was my car my parents bought me when I was 17. It is in great shape.

Re: 1987 Trans AM 5.7

Not interested in buying it, sorry. BUT... Those wheels are not called "Honeycomb". Honeycombs were on '70-'76 GTO and T/A. They're a steel wheel with an "Endura" (high-impact rubber, like the nose piece on a '70-73 T/A) insert, intended to LOOK like aluminum. Aluminum wheels weren't commonly found on factory cars until the late '70s, a DOT "safety" thing. The wheels that came on your T/A are called "Snow Flake" wheels.

FWIW

Jim
