Upgrading, and need advice.

I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero GL, coupe, 2.2 l 4 cyl, with 125,000 miles. Worth about $2,200, owe about $4,200.

I want to trade this car in for a mid-size car, but I don't know what to look into. I know my trucks, and I know that I can't afford one, so I am now looking for a car.

I want a sedan/ AWD for the Winter/ (Can't afford a truck, so I need an AWD car.) preferably larger than a 2.2 l 4 cyl.

I can only afford around $200 a month, I can push it up a bit, but not more than $250 a month.

I don't want something that is going to take a dump after it hits 125,000 miles. I need something that will last a while, and that is reliable.

Any advice on what to look into, or what kind of cars are out there that fit my range of needs?

Re: Upgrading, and need advice.

You want to be at $250. max a month, will that include the $2000. negative also being build into the deal ? how is your credit score ?

I would like to give you some answers, but don't like to run with half wind answering questions that may not benefit you.

$250.00 a month max, including the negative $2000 for the trade in. Puts me around... 10k for a used sedan, awd, under 100k miles, thats not going to take a dump on me at 125k.

Re: Upgrading, and need advice.

there are many experts in this forum that can advice what vehicle may suit your needs, but your major problem is you will not get financed, you are upside down trying to buy a car out of your range.

Trust me, if you get financed, you will be taking the dump. " BIG TIME "
If you don't have a clue what I am trying to say, please say so, and I will try to explain further.

Note, nooooobody has come up with a car that may fit your ticket, they are all doing this
