No Lights

When I switch to Hi Beams my lights go completely out. It is a 89 suburban. It has single sealed headlights. I have checked fuses, the dash indicator lights fuse is not showing any current. When I switch to brights the blue hi beam light in my gage cluster does not come either. I believe it is in the switch but don't know how going about it. Does anyone know the procedure??
