Axle Removal
My CV is bad and replacing the right axle. Everything is out except for the axle. It's too long to completely remove because the hub frame (with bearing / hub assy removed) won't let me get the axle completely out of the mission and won't compact enough to back out of the hub frame. Am I missing something? Do I need to unbolt the strut to get the axle out? One other question on the bearing / speed sensor unit: Is there a continuity test or resistance test I can do before putting it back to be certain it is OK?

Re: Axle Removal
Disconnect the lower ball joint and tie rod end this will save the alignment, not knowing the year of the car, but most abs sensors are around 1100 ohms. Be sure to properly support everything as you go.
