oil andfilter change...megane

i have megane dymonique and would like to do oil and filter change myself......is 5w30 oil the right one and where is that filter?

Hi,

What year is your car year and engine size. Does it use Fully synthetic or semi?

The oil filter is normally a cylindrical thing located on the front of the engine....you may need an oil filter removal tool or you can use a large screwdriver pierced into the side of the filter to undo with.....When putting new filter on make sure you put a little fresh oil on the 'O' ring and don't over tighten...it should go on using your hand until tight then a further quarter turn.

Type of oil could range from 5w 30 to 15w 40 all depends. Where you buy the oil from they can tell you which one you need.
