control arm bushings

is it possible to replace control arm bushings without any special tools?
new control arm is $159 bushings are 5.99

if someone did them on GA 96-98 plese let me know what and how you did it- thx

Yes it is possible. I suggest you purchase a Chilton's or other manual for your car and it will show you what to do. It isn't hard just takes time. I haven't done this on your particular car so I can't give you step by step instructions.

IMO it's easiest to remove the control arm to press the old bushings out. Then you would need to press in the new ones. oh and a ball joint seperator.
