Scan tool

Can anyone point me into the right direction for a decent "engine capable" scan tool? I have trucks that range from GM's 1998-2008, and Fords that go from 2001-2005. All of them are 3/4 ton or larger. I'm having a few with ABS problems as well. Anyone that knows, I'd sure be grateful to know where to look. Thanks!!

Ah, that makes a ton more sense. He mispelled the name (Alex Pepers). It's not saying that it can adjust timing on most of these engines tho.

If you look at http://www.obd-2.com/gmpida.htm

It lists Camshaft Retard Degrees as one of the Real Time Data variable and this is the one you need to set the timing on L31 Vortec Engines.
