Doing it again now.. Have tried to check spark again, but dont see any problem like before. could it be egr valve? fuel pump? ICM? Please help!!!! Taterhead |

Re: help meeee
Could it be? Check the fuel pressure for starters, also could be a bad or dirty injector or ign module.

Re: help meeee
What did they charge you for the dyno pull? This is what it could be.
· Low fuel pressure for all the reasons, bad regulator, dirty filter, bad pump, bad pump connector next to the gas tank · Bad ICM or “crudded” up connector Bad MAF (tap it with a screwdriver and see if the engine stumbles) Plugged fuel injectors Severely dirty air filter will make it chug A stuck EGR on an OBDI will usually make the car sound like a diesel at idle and cruise, but little or no effect at WOT (clean it, check its operation, or just plug) The OBD I wont toss a code without it working. After that the only thing that comes to mind is a vacuum/intake leak. You can check that with a vacuum gauge, and spraying WD or starting fluid around the intake, unless it is sucking air from the engine. (But for god sakes dont catch the car on fire) |
