2000 LS6 Idling problems
My 17 year old son just bought this beautiful car that runs well, but when it idles for 30 seconds it gets rough and then stalls. It also had a CEL with code P0171...we thought it was a o2 sensor since it was on only one bank...changed it and the CEL is gone but it still runs rough at idle. Any ideas? I thought maybe it was a vacuum leak but can't find it (at least not where I can get too).

Welcome to the forum!
Have you searched the forum for the code P0171? There have been quite a few discussions related to this, and especially with the 2000-2002 V6, a few common issues that could cause this. If you are handy with tools and have a weekend to spare, you can save yourself a lot of money on the repairs. -Rod
