check engine light
Ok my 2002 impala has been a nightmare the past severl years.
The problems now I was driving and the steering wheel locked the car shut off turned it on it did the same thing a few blocks down and smoked from under the hood drivers side and shut off could not get it to stay on after that. I changed out the spark plugs and wires car will start now with trouble but shakes real bad and smells like gas really bad also a few time white smoke came out from the back. I am clueless to what it might be. Thinking it could be cadallic converter but hate to spend the money and it be something else any thought or anyone having the same problem.
Just got several other things fixed 2 weeks ago including the security light issue i was having one thing after another.
