No power to fuel pump?

I just installed a new fuel pump and after hooking it up I can not get any power to the pump. If I jump power from the battery to the pump the pump runs fine and the car will start and run great. Is there a relay or some thing I'm missing of getting power to the pump? I was very carefull on getting the wires back on the pump in the correct position. Any help out there?
PAul

Re: No power to fuel pump?

Paul, check the fuel pump relay it is on top of the computer I had a problem with mine. Also try resetting inertia switch.

Good Luck
Jim

Re: No power to fuel pump?

There are two fuse blocks behind the switch panel on the console. I am not sure if the fuel pump is fused but it is something else to check.
