Interior light Problem 2001 F150 S'Crew 4.6 V8

I had to replace my passenger side mirror as the glass was shattered. I followed all instructions with one exception, i did not disconnect the battery. After doing the replacement the interior lights will not go off. To my knowledge I did not damage any of the wiring, and I think that the switch which operates the interior lights is combined in the door lock mechanism, which i did not knowingly touch either.
I would have thought that if I did short something by leaving the battery connectec it wiould have blown a fuse. however i am wondering if i have caused damaged to the ECU. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Re: Interior light Problem 2001 F150 S'Crew 4.6 V8

Me again, I have tried switching Relay 1 (interior lamp) with Relay 2 (battery saver) to see if the relay is bad, but still had the same problem so unless both are bad I do not think that it is a relay problem. Also no check engine light issue

Guiltfull admission that i did not check the dimmer switch!!!!
Kids had been in the truck and must have turned the dimmer to the on position. I assumed the problem was related to the replaced mirror....Dumb and Dumber.
Issue solved!
