98 Gen II Oil Pressure

I have a 5.7L Gen II engine, recently rebuilt. At highway speeds, the oil pressure settles to 30psi. This seems low to me. Is this okay?

Thanks,
JD

At what RPM is highway speeds?
Your.
MIN. oil pressure specs are with engine hot.
6 lbs. AT 1K rpm
18 lbs. AT 2K RPM
24 lbs AT 4K RPM

Do not use dash gauge for checking oil pressure readings.
Always use a manual test gauge.

Post back your oil pressure readings at 1 and 2 and 4K RPM with engine hot with a manual oil pressure test gauge.
