Electrical problems

I had my passenger side headlight go out a few weeks ago that an officer was kind enough to point out to me. Changed the bulb, easy enough. The other day I got an alert that my passenger side rear turn signal was out. When I went to replace it I noticed the bulb was working just fine. The tail light works, but the turn signal does not work, as well as the brake light. Now as of today my keyless remote entry does not work. I know it's not the battery cuz it's pretty much new, and it still pops the trunk. Any suggestions? This is a 2006 grand prix SE.

Re: Electrical problems

The turn signal and brake use a different filament in the bulb than the tail light. If you look at the bulb you'll see the two filaments. The taller one is the tail light and the shorter one is for the brake/turn signal. It is entirely possible for the brake/turn signal part of the bulb to be burned out and have the tail lights still work fine!
