Bil Attridge's MP4/6!!!

Hello all,

Perhaps you may have been wondering where I have been over the last few years??? At this time in my life, my interests have moved on from modeling...One day I will get back into the model building swing of things!

In the mean time, I just wanted to let anyone know who might be interested, that I have listed my TamiyaCon 2003 winning model up for auction.

I hope all is well with everyone....take care.

Re: Bil Attridge's MP4/6!!!

Glad to hear that you're doing well, and sorry to hear that you aren't building much lately (but of course many of us know how that goes).

AF does not allow free advertisement for auctions. If you have modeling related items you'd like to sell to members here, you're very welcome to post here in our classifieds section. However, we are not here to increase traffic and sales prices for auctions elsewhere.

Re: Bil Attridge's MP4/6!!!

Hey Bil

Just so you know, I regard you, Gerald Wingrove and Andy Mathews as the foremost builders of our time, and the reason I got into this hobby.

Apart from the new interests that you mention, I'm sure that building the next show-stopper must be a daunting prospect for you, seeing as you set the bar so high already, but I really hope to see your work again soon.

Hope you get your asking price for this model - goodness knows, it's worth every penny.

WOW...that's quite the compliment....thank you very much. I've got a few ideas for projects, but it won't be anytime soon.

Hope you do get the 9k 4it. It's worth it. Will you build another one again? I would imagine it would be 'easier' and definitely quicker the 2nd time by... And just throwing it out there, Thank you for inspiring me to always build better.

I shall be personally mortified if you do.

Google is always a good place to start. Or you could try searching popular internet auction sites. But you're going to have to find it yourself.

Entering "Bil Attridge MP4/6" in the search box on eBay.com gives surprisingly good results

Re: Bil Attridge's MP4/6!!!

The detail is mind-boggling! Not to mention reading the blurb-it was painted 4 times before you were happy, and has always been stored in a temperature-controlled environment. Wow.

Jeez. Thanks for calling me a loser. I hope that makes you feel good.

I did just what you said and and found it "for myself", with your help.

No problem. You have to admit that it was a bit of a "no brainer" though.

Good luck with your bidding on the item!

I'm still working on a suitable smiley for that intriguing concept

Re: Bil Attridge's MP4/6!!!

That was and is an awesome model.
It's a travesty that you are selling it Bil. But life for a modeller changes.

Best of luck in all your endeavours Bil.

It hasn't sold yet...and there's been no action for a while. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
