Newbies with attitudes???

Is it just me or has there been a increase in newbies with attitudes? I mostly see them on tuners, and they act like their shit don't stink. I started to see notice this within a couple years now and I almost feel embarrassed to call my self a dsm'er now. Don't get me wrong not all dsm'ers are like this, but these new guys are really annoying. I guess its just there attitude, as if we all owe them something.

Has anyone else noticed this? What are your thought? Or am I just tripping or getting too old for this?

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

Yeah, youtube seems to be really bad. It seems like most of the negative comments on youtube are from people who don't even own a car! All they do is shit talk.

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

negative nancies...

oh well, they will never have as much fun as we do, if they just have bad attitudes all the time

and those fuck faces are unavoidable...believe me, I(and my other friends) do a lot of work on youtube and break.com and other sites, putting our vids up there....and i mean, its a sure fire thing anything you post up there WILL get negatively criticized...although, its nice when the people come up and say cool stuff...which makes it all worth it of coarse

why cant everybody just chill, be nice

lol

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

I think the attitude comes with the current generation getting into these cars now... I can't stand little punk ass kids who come in all cocky with an attitude thinking they know everything.

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

lol...just for shits n giggles...

This guy, i found his number in my gf's phone, it was unknown so i called back, and apparently it ended up being this dueschbag friend of hers, but anywho...

He starts to cuss me out, hard, for no reason, and then goes to say things such as "my honda will beat your pos eclipse" and "
i dont believe u can get 22 psi of boost n an eclipse its not possible" and my favorite line of all, "yeah well i gotta honda civic, vtec k20 swap, intake manifold, built engine, no turbo, and i eat wrx's for breakfast"

lol...wow.

i didnt even start bc i would have never shut up. i told him to sell it an invest in a dsm, after also throwing in the fact that the worlds fastest inline 4 is a gsx...

but yah, this dude, is the epitamy of the bad side of street tuners...unfortunately, but what can ya do...no respect these days lol

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

Yeah it seems like the newer generation are a lot cockier than we were back in the day. Theres a kid w/ a white cavalier (spoiler, neons, etc) around here constantly calling me out. Someday I will line up w/ him and beat his sorry ass, maybe then he will cut the shit.

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

I hate youtube's comments. I watch a lot of guitarist videos on there and all people do is make fun of other peoples playing, even though the person with the comments have no videos or anything showing what talent they have. What a waste. I've been noticing this more and more and it's pissing me off.

Some nOOb here sent me a couple PMs about how a response I made to some question was wrong... something about top speed and fuel cut. I don't remember the whole thing, but basically just proved himself stupid by talking shit saying I don't know what I'm talking about.

I also love how people have the fastest car, but it's in the shop, or just sold it for $20k or some lame shit. What a waste.

Re: Newbies with attitudes???

The scene sucks, the newbies suck, the knowledge sucks. Don't even get me started on the people I see online...

If I didn't enjoy power and turbos, I'd be long, long, LONG gone.

See the "GSX motor swap in a Laser" thread for further fuckery.
