a martini to get me started again
hi all,
here's another martini porsche 1/24 by tamiya an easy build to get me started again in this beautifull hobby fo us.... got stuck on building planes dit not build cars for a long time!!! (forgive my crapy english i'm from holland... )when i got the model i was planning to change a few things, like chainging the crappy headlights that i think tamiya should have remodelled like the inside tub where in the old kit the battery's used to be and the crappy way the windows are molded as one piece... no! too expansive i guess for a multi million industrie like tamiya:sarcasm1:anyway after opening the holes and removing the moldlines i placed some plasticard pieces in the front wheelarches i guess they where spacers now the body can be primed and painted i guess.... did some work on the cockpit area and planning to make a rollcage also painted the wheels and gave the chrome rims a clearcoat with some black added to it so it wont look like plastic chrome anymore! dont like the matt look, so i used a gloss clearcoat (should have done some before pics .... also new to posting) i did some work on the interieur rollcage etc finished decaling and laquered it only thing left is rearlights untill next time (comments/feedback are welcome) Last edited by thijs37; 01-15-2011 at 05:28 PM.
