ml320 drivers door lock

i need to rem the drivers door lock for body repairs, i took off inner panel,rem screw completely from back of lock and its come slightly loose but wont come out. had some plastic levers to try to gently pry it out but there must be somthing else?

You will need to remove the outside door handle and possibly the side air bag to get the release cable out. I don't know if you have to remove the window guide or not. (bad memory)
