No driving rear tail lights?
Hey everyone, I have this problem that I dont have any running lights at the back of my 98 K1500 Silverado also no liscense plate light either.I did check the fuses and the ground and found that they were good. The front works just fine and I do have brake lights and directionals. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Re: No driving rear tail lights?
You should check the connectors and maybe put some dielectric grease on the pins. There are connectors at both taillamp assemblies and one more near the spare tire

All the connections at the back are good but what I didnt do yet was to test for power at the plug by the spare tire. Have just been to busy with work, thanks for the reply.

Re: No driving rear tail lights?
Still have not got to the lights yet been to busy working but noticed now my gas needle guage is vibrating back and forth very quickley in a small distance.
Starting to wonder if there is more to the eletrical failure than I think. |

Re: No driving rear tail lights?
Well guys found the light problem, it was at the trailer accessory hook up. One of the stackons had just disintergrated from the inside out so replaced it and covered it up with 3m liquid electrical tape works good as new!
