rear axle ciera
Does anyone know how to check to see if the rear axle on a 92 ciera s 3.3 is the same as a 88 buick century 2.5? Both have front wheel drive so the rear axle I think are the same. I want to remove the rear axle and junk the century and put it on the cutless as the brakes, etc are new on the 88 century and the cutless I will keep.

Re: rear axle ciera
As long as there both 2 doors or 4 doors and not wagons than everything will be the same as far as the brakes. The wagons had different wheel cylinders but the shoes where still the same. I would imagine that the axle is the same as well. They didn't change much throughout the production of those.
