B18b1 Swap
i have a 1991 CRX Si. ok, i want to the do the b18b1 swap and run turbo. i will use a 90-93 ls cable tranny. what else will i need to change?? distributer?? which ecu should i run?? i want a b18a1, but many of them usually have high mileage on them, and people still want a lot for them. what do you guys think??

You use the same distributor from the ls motor and same ecu from the ls motor. I wouldn't pay more than 700-800 for a high mileage ls motor. If anything i'd rebuild it before installing.

If you decide to do the B18B1 swap, I would recommend getting a 94-95 B18B1 longblock and ECU. Then I would get a conversion harness to update your car to OBD1, and i would run the usdm s1 ls cable trans, imho

Both right...run obd-1 and try to build it before slapping the turbo. Do the block at least.
