2005 Dodge Ram Starter Issues.

I've got a 2005 Ram and since day one the starter has acted kinda odd. It'll roll over a few times and usualy start up the first try but I end up havin to wait 5 seconds or so before it'll start (while it turns over) and yes I'm waiting till the wait to star light goes off, im not that stupid . it always starts eventualy I'm just worried about a future problem.
