Need to Bypass Passlock on 2006 Colorado

I have a 2006 Colorado and am having the Passlock issue . How does one bypass a 2006 colorado . The wiring isn't the same as in the procedure from Ponchonutty . I beleive I have a Passlock III which has the resistor built into the ignition switch or cylinder .
Also, how do you replace the ignition cylinder. I tried but to no avail as to getting it out.

Thanks,

Thibods

Thanks . I tried Mitchells and the diagrams seem OK but the repair part is vague...no pictures.
