Taller Tires for my QX4?

I have the stock P245/70R16 tires on my QX4 and I'd like bigger tires.

Can I put 17, 18, 19 inches or more rims? Recommendations welcomed!

thanks
Mario

cool

Thanks Luke,

I'm looking for a good offroad tire, either the
- bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO
- or the BF goodrich all-terrain T/A KO

So, for example, a bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO 265/70SR17 will have no trouble fitting ?

Much appreciated!

Interesting

You know what I'd like to know, the actual overall height difference between sizes, for example:

245/65R17
245/70R16
245/75R16

Which is taller?

I'm sure the calculation is easy, I'll try to find the formula on the net..

ok figured it out

Found
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/size.htm
which lists all you need to know about tire sizes.

Using their formula, it seems

- 245/65R17 is 29.53" high (2003 models)
- 245/70R16 is 29.50" high (stock)
- 265/75R16 is 31.6" high (what I want)

No how do I know if 31.6" fits on my QX4 ?? Hmm that's 2 inches more... What do you think?
