4.6 and 5.0 mustang throttle bodies

I have a ford racing 70mm tb that has a 4.6 tps on it. I was wondering if the bolt pattern for the 4.6l and 5.0l tb are different?? Can I install my tb on any of the 2 and just change my tps??

Re: 4.6 and 5.0 mustang throttle bodies

Sorry to be digging up a really old thread but was wondering if either of you could measure the bolt hole distance as i have a plenum which requires a mustang throttle body but i dont know if its the 5.0L or the 4.6 (i think its the 5.0L but i dont want to purchase one until i do confirm it)

here is a pick with the measurements.

cheers chris
