97 silhouette vibration when stopped.

Hi, I have a 97 silhouette van that has a vibration problem when the car is stopped lets say, at a stop light. the vibrating is so intense that it makes the side mirrors shake as well. but when the car is running (accelerating) it does not vibrate. anyone have the same problem or a solution? thanks.

Does it shake when in Park or neutral, or just when its in gear? Is your check engine light on? It could be a slight miss due to a plug, wire, coil, etc going bad.

I already got it fixed thanks though. The mechanic replaced something, I dont know what it was since I wasnt the one to pick up the car but it costed around $150.

Oh and I made a mistake, its a 98 not 97. And it used to vibrate even in park, not sure about neutral though. But now its great, barely any vibrations or sound, its so quiet sometimes i dont know if the engine is started or not haha.

Would love to know what he did to fix it....Bet it was a motor mount loose or broke...Mine was...

Actually yea. I later found out it was the engine mounts. But sadly now the coolant is leaking. Sigh.. Problems, problems, everywhere. Haha
