..there's your answer...90 civic
![]() definitely get the 90 civic intake...the header's for d series are all pretty much the same...but I'd get the one for the 90 as well.

always order stuff like an intake for the car so it fits, but id order the header for that motor so you wont have to do any port matching.

Are you sure he should get one for a 90 civic since he has a 90?? Damn...why wouldn't he get a different year, since he has a 90, wouldn't he want to get a 92? Oh..how about a 90 since it is an intake for a 90 hatch he's looking for
![]() LOL - Sometimes you moderators need to be smacked! :apoke:

I would get the header for the type of motor that it is.

unless you want to mess with the header bolting up to the cat and everything fitting within the 90 front crossmember, I would get the 90. D series is to D series what Apples are to apples. BUT, cars are not built the same through various model years and therefore (sounds good huh?) you will want to get the D series pieces for YOUR car. Yep, I'm right again.

If you get the header for the engine, it will obviously work better for that particular engine. this is what i did. IF you get the header for the engine rather than the car, it will not mount to the frame correctly, but thats not really a big deal. It will still bolt up to the catalytic converter correctly.
Intakes also do not matter, i am using a CAI from a 99-00 Civic Si, but then again i have my battery relocated to the trunk so its not in the way. I would order a CAI for a 90 civic and a header for a 92-95 civic. |
