Problem Related to Heater Blower Motor

I noticed yesterday that the blower motor for HVAC in my 1999 Grand Prix GT only works on a setting of "5". I checked it in different modes (heat, a/c, vent), and the result seems to be the same. Any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem?

Re: Problem Related to Heater Blower Motor

if you have the manual a/c controls (not the digital climate control), you need a blower speed resistor. It's a very common issue on these cars, AC-Delco part# 15-80571, and it runs about $30-$35. Its mounted under the dash below the glove box behind the blower motor. Just follow the red and black wires that plug into the blower motor back to the resistor.
