2009 Concorso Italiano will feature a McLaren F1
For anyone who can make it to Monterey in the middle of August, I am told there will be a McLaren F1 on display at the Concorso Italiano this year. I believe the last time one was displayed there was back in 2002 when chassis #038 was in attendance. It's rare we get advanced notice on this sort of thing, so hopefully with this news some people will be able to make arrangements to see it there.

I hope to be there, but haven't been able to finalize my own plans just yet. I may make it a single day trip like I did back in 2005. That ended up being a pretty good day.

Well first I must correct myself, as chassis #028 participated in the Concorso in 2004.
 I'll try to get an answer. I know of one F1 planning to be in town for the Monterey weekend, but perhaps it won't be the car displayed at Concorso. >8^) ER

Fortunately I can't go there, because I won't come back home. Heart will fail when can see all the Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Bugatti's and the McLaren F1....

I'll be in Monterey that week but unfortunately, Concorso is the only event I have not received media credentials for so I can't promise pics. If it's chassis #028, I've seen it before and posted a few pics of Mr Price's car here in the US McLaren thread. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it when I'm out there though.

Haven't found any shots from yesterday's Concorso yet, but chassis #068 did make an appearance on the lawn at 'The Quail - A Motorsports Gathering' as its owner said it would. Pics from AutoBlog:
