strut bars?

get the stillen strut bar, even thou it's more expensive but you sure get what you pay for. the generic ones are not strong enough cos when I install it on my car, it had an arch (??) shape.. but now it's dead flat and was cutting my A/C line...can't go wrong with stillen.

I got Zero1Racing strut bar, my friend got it for me from www.speedpeople.com for my B-day and it was 40 dollars shipped. Quality is very good. I had it on since November. I love it and see the difference in performance. Most of strut bars are the same. DO NOT get stillen FSTB. Its waaaaay overpriced and stillen doesnt make it. Some other company makes it for them and stillen just puts their logo on it. For that much money you better off getting a rear sway bar which will also give u a verry good handling. Its upto you man. Have fun.

stillen overpriced

yeap..stillen does not make this bar, but the quality is definitely there!!
I wasted 90 bucks for 2 cheap bars off ebay and then ended up getting a stillen.
I am not trying to say that all generic strut bars have poor quality, just that from my experiences, I'd rather pay more and have a brand name product to back it up.

ps.. i haven't made any post at dot.. y?

The dude from Maximum Tuning told me rear sway bar wasn't necessary. He told me Maximas dont need that because of the way the rear was linked. He said dont waste ur money, all u need is any regular front strut bar. His work is the best and If anyone would know it should be him, it's his living.

P.S. His max is sicckkkkkk.

Rear Sway bar does make difference. Dont know about other maxxie generations but definetly on 4th. Mrmaxima97 (from Maxima.org) has addco rear sway bar and told me, he feels alot of improvement in handling. Rear sway bar is for the purpose of your car not fishtailing coming out of the corner, so you wont oversteer. So it will be a very stable ride. I did ride in his maxima, and he did couple of things that I do in turns and his maxima is more stable on the rear end than mine (because I dont have one yet )

I believe its the rear strut tower bar that doesn't make any difference. Mainly because your rear struts don't bend like the front do in turns.
