Smart Phone - Carphone - what works bester
So I want to get a new phone and was curious what works well in cars in your opinion. I am thinking about getting the G1 Android phone. Does anyone have any opinion on it or even have the phone.
Thanks Peter |

Well it really depends on the car. I'm assuming your car has bluetooth or something somewhere that allows you to sync up your phone and use it to talk and stuff.
If it doesn't the phone is quite bulky and would be a major pain in the butt to use while driving... |

Re: Smart Phone - Carphone - what works bester
I've been really happy with my Motorola Droid.
The Droid has GPS and comes with Google Maps. I hook my Droid into its car mount and the Droid automatically opens Google Maps. When I want to go somewhere, the Droid's voice recognition knows where I want to go, and then takes me there. Too easy. I just wish I had bought the Droid for what it costs today. I paid $200, but now it's $100 on the Internet according BuyDroidPhones.com. Oh, and since it's on Verizon, I've had none of the network problems that I had with the iPhone. Not being a fanboy...just telling it how it is... |
