Exclamation IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

hi guy's!!

Be carefull on ebay... a seller sells INCOMPLETE scale auto style transkit. i warn it but gave me shit. so i will do all my best to inform every modeler in regard of this.

the seller ID is ebuystore and his store name is Hobbies Evolution

right now his selling the 400R but doesn't have any clear lense supply.
also i'm suspecting they are conterfeit.

it's easy to recast resin but when it's time to do clear parts.... it's an other game. Small defrauder don't take the time to cast small clear parts.

so BE CAREFULL

yours

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

I bought my 400R kit from him too.

This is the one from ebuystore:

Pretty good, but no clear lenses as you stated.

And some pics from a fellow modeler on SPC which bought the transkit from the same person:

Set include:
Front and rear bumper:

Bonnet and flarefenders:

Side skirts:

As the new owner of SAS, be sure to alert Ebay to this guy's practice of selling (counterfeit) copies of what is now your transkit.

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

Don't let that stop you.
Just keep an eye out every time one of the copies comes up for sale.
At the end of the day it is your right to protect your products and it is in Ebay's own policy to remove counterfeit products from their listings.
Legally speaking, you are in the right no matter how big/little you are.
If this ever gets to court, you won't be the one paying the legal fees.

They also have the 350z nismo kit, i bought it. Very dissapointed by it as the bumper and skirts are 3-4mm too small. Please don't buy.

Can't wait for the real SAS to get back on, do you have any idea when the brakes will be avaliable?

Is there a consumer protection bureau in Canada, or Quebec? If there is than you should let them know that consumers are tricked into buying counterfeit products on eBay and that eBay doesn't want to rectify the situation. I'm sure they will have much more leverage on eBay than you have.

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

Do not stop by asking ebay to remove the items.

Make them give you the detailed information about the seller who is selling the copied products. By this you can contact the seller directly asking him to stop the selling with a dissuassion because of the breach of copyright law. He should also state or sign a declaration of discontinuance with a penalty clause in case he violates your copyrights again.

Somethings you should know before taking action against him:
- Was the seller allowed by the foreowner to make copies and sell these?
- In which country does the seller live? This surely affects the effective laws and jurisdiction.

If not sure what to do let a lawyer handle this case. Nowadays youŽll find tons of lawyers who deal with copyright issues. They might do that without asking for compensation, because the violator/defendant actually has to carry your costs of protecting your copyright!

Best wishes - Robert

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

Is it an idea for the people here who bought from him to contact ebay telling these are counterfeit and not complete without the clear parts?
The more people complain the more urgent it seems and ring bells at ebay?
I didnt buy from him, but maybe the ones who did should make a note of this on ebay...

Good luck finding a lawyer that will do anything without ripping you off.

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

how is that guy even in buisness, his prices are horribly high, i can get the same kits he sells on ebay the site he is selling on, for about half.

maybe he is pricing his kits high so no one buys them, but he looks more like a hobby store, to cover selling the fakes.

Re: IMPORTANT don't be fool on ebay

I've been aware of this loser for a while now. The same person was copying the 350z and TM Evo kits. I wasn't trading at the time I found out so did not bother to follow it up. This is not the first time and sadly it goes with the territory of being a resin kit manufacturer.

I say screw him! It's unfortunate for those who have been fooled into believing these are genuine SAS products, but if you are foolish enough to purchase from this person when you know they are not genuine then I can guarantee you will be receiving an inferior product. Apart from the kit being incomplete as Sebastien mentioned, you will experience fitment issues as there will be twice the amount of shrinkage from the original masters.

Whatever the amount of SAS copies this joker has sold then I'm pretty certain that they will dwindle down to nothing when others are made aware and when the real deal is back on sale again thanks to Seb.
