92 Cheyenne need to find tach wire

I have a 92 Chevy C1500 with a 4.3L - 5 speed manual trans and I need to locate the tach wire so i can hook up the tach wire for my remote start on my alarm.
Is it the purple/white wire at the ECM ?

Oh and my ecm is located behind the glove box.
