satin black spray bomb! PICS

ok so its not a 3000GT. . . but in preparation for going blacktop i decided to use my civic as practice. upon completion i'm pretty sure i dont wanna rattle can the 3k. it doesnt look too bad on a civic but its pretty dam ghetto-fied. definitely too low class for the 3k. here's some 'before and afters'

I couldnt tell which pics were of the car painted.

If you want satin black, dont rattle can it. You can buy enough single stage satin black paint to do your car for like $70. It will lay down and look 100 times better than spray cans, and most importantly it will last. All you need is a cheap ass paint gun and a air compressor.

Re: satin black spray bomb! PICS

well i'm not really sure about your confusion, but the ones in which it is black are the painted ones . thanks for the tip though. i wasnt really wanting it to look pro, its just a beater. as for cost this only ran me about $80 and i didnt need to buy a spray gun or compressor or anything so it looked like the cheapest way which is good. it should last fine though. its 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of satin clear.

I would have it done by someone who knows what they are doing. You can clearly depict what you are getting at in the photos but isn't the quality I would let near my car.

Re: satin black spray bomb! PICS

Our paint guy does great Satin work.. check out this subaru he did in satin orange- Flat Orange Subaru

There is also a Flat black SRT4 but I can't seem to find the picture at the moment.

But I would take it to somone that knows what there doing cause satin paint is hard to lay and make it look good..

That flat orange Subaru looks nice Jason! I have never seen a car painted with a flat orange before.
