Check Engine Light Codes

I have used the old paper clip trick to pull some odb codes off my 95 chevy and came up with some I have never seen before. Can anyone tell me what codes 66, 67, 81, 82, and 83 are?

Re: Check Engine Light Codes

Does your truck shift or does it stay in third unless manually shifted?

Re: Check Engine Light Codes

Thanks, artymarine!
Jeremy, the truck shifts normal with no noticeable problems.
I pulled the codes looking for a soulution to my electrical problems, I have another post on here listed as strange electrical problems. As far as I can figure out I might have a backfeed into the brake light circuit possibly from the transmission manual lever position switch. Just to recap the problems they are as follows:
The shift indicator light will go on and off, when the light is on everything is fine unless I try to use the windshield wipers or turn the AC on past the second fan setting. When the indicator is off or messing up, the brake lights and e-flashers will work backwards (brake light stays on until the pedal is pressed), the windshield wipers and AC will not work also. I can usually get the indicator light to come back on by shifting back and forth between different gears it takes a little playing with it though. When the ignition is in the accessory position the indicator light works fine until you press the brake pedal then it will flash or blink repeatedly then go off until you release the pedal. When the truck is running and the indicator starts working again the abs and brake warning lights will flash a few times and the engine will stumble a few seconds before finaly smoothing out. While the indicator is not working the truck runs smooth, when it is working there is a slight miss in the engine.
I have checked all the relays, grounds, brake light switch, and I have pulled apart the whole wiring harnes and visually checked for any obvious shorts. I have pulled apart the dash and steering column also (no tilt or cruse controll) and have found nothing. The only place I have not checked is where the harness feeds through the firewall on both sides. The rest of the electrical works fine, no problems with courtesy, headlights, turnsignals, running lights, or dashlights. I'm running out of ideas so if anyone can think of anything I have not please give me a clue, thanks.

Re: Check Engine Light Codes

Do you have any kind of trailer wiring harness on it? Remove it if you do. You may want to check as many ground wires as you can find and clean them up
