Re: looking for...

Someone on this board had shown how to do this. I think they rapped tubing with wire then rapped that with Teflon tape. Then, painted the tape and it looked like what is in the picture.

Re: looking for...

Hello Thijs

The option mentioned above is a good one. Although I haven't tried it myself yet.
There is also another option. One for the lazy people (like me).

Renaissance makes several diameters of corrugated tube (see link below).

Scroll down to the BOAx items... They look good, I used them on my Peugeot 307.

You can order them from Domino in Belgium (http://www.modelkits.be/main.php?action=modelbouw), but I think that De Roos Autominiaturen (http://www.deroosautominiaturen.com/main.htm) has them also. But he doesn't list everything on his site, so you might give him a call.

Re: looking for...

As I don't know the correct word in english ("paille" in french but "paille" can also mean hay), then a picture would be the best way to show you what I personaly use to represent that:

http://www.firplast.com/Photos/790030.jpg
http://www.tombeaudelavaisselle.fr/a...uits/789_1.jpg
http://www.lateuf.fr/local/uploaded/paragraph/74405.jpg

- by using the flexible part, sometimes several ones put one after the other and sometime above another wire when long lenght and/or some rigidity is needed -

I also used one as a mold to get a safari schnorkel for the Seat Cordoba WRC.

the main advantage is that it cost almost nothing and you can get a large stock in only one purchase.
(And I'm pretty sure you even can get some for free at your Mc'Donald's or such restaurant )

But I imagine most of us already have some at home.

Merci !
that was what translator gave me but I didn't know if it was translating "paille" = drinking straw or "paille" = hay in farm.
