paint looks quite rough; how are you prepping and painting the body?

Apart from some visible mold lines its looking nice. Did you clear coat the blue? If not , then don't polish the paint as its a metallic and won't polish out and will make the body color really dull.

Re: Nissan Skyline GTR R34 Ztune (Almost Completed)

In fact my airbrush compressor is not working and i used the real car paint for this model, therefor the paint looks rough
before painting with blue paint i coated with the real car plastic coat When i finish the blue color, i sprayed lacquer(varnish) which is used for real cars. Then i try to polish with tamiya compound and i didnt like the result and stopped.
it was my first try to paint a model car with real car paint. Should i continue on other models with this method or do something different (repairing the compressor etc.)?

Thanks for your comments and your help..

Re: Nissan Skyline GTR R34 Ztune (Almost Completed)

I like the colour...I've used a lot of automotive car paints and I love em! its very durable and its cheap. Dont expect it to behave like Tamiya spray paints, It will come out rough thats why you have to wet sand it, apply cutting compound and polish some more. Check out some of my past projects I had great results with them. Like MidMazar said dont polish the metalic, polish the clear coat.
