98 4.3 Intake manifold gasket, anything else while I'm in there?
I've got a 98 Blazer w/ 4.3 auto, 196,000mi and the Cat plugged. Seems the back pressure blew out the exhaust donut on the right side, replaced that and the cat and now it is POURING coolant out from what seems like the intake gasket. It comes up on the corner near the left valve cover, under the bracket that holds the AC compressor on(is that part of the power steering pump?).
Here's the question. What would you also do while in there? I just don't feel like doing this twice. The truck is in great shape, and the engine, until now has been really reliable. No oil burning or anything like that. Talk amongst yourselves! ![]() Thanks guys

Replace the intake gasket with the Felpro problem solver gasket.
