Air Ride Question

im trying to get all the knowledge i can about air ride, im puttin it in my civic this summer, i know pretty much what everything does and how it works except for the values, when i order my kit i get a choice of values, whats the best position value to get?......2 or 3?......if my question don't make sense then check the AIM ad in the car mags and read the tiny font thats under the kit.

we had a guy at school that had them on a 94 4dr, called "1phat4dr"
And it rides so good and was like 3/4 inch off the ground all the time, he didnt even really have to raise it much to clear the speedbumps either.
If you do it, make sure you do it right thats for sure.(I had airbags on my truck and the lines tend to leak(use lock tite) and your fenders will get messed up)

Air ride is nice, very smooth ride - but usually comes with more maintainance than coilovers. I live in idaho, and it's always dusty, rainy and lots of sand on the road, so I'm always cleaning and oiling my cylinders. But the biggest problems you'll have are probably with the fittings leaking. I know the basic ones that come with the kits from Aim leak after a while, so I upgraded mine to high end Semi Truck Air Brake Line Fittings. I've been very happy with them. My car won't leak any air out of the cylinders for days. Very nice. Also, make sure you get a 100% duty cycle compressor. They're more durable. Your compressor is very important. I'm upgrading mine because it can't keep up at all with the cylinders. I'd recommend a 3/4 horse 100% compressor and at least a 5 gallon tank. If you have ANY questions, IM or email me.

defiantely get a 5 gallon or bigger. i have a 7 gallon and it runs out kind of fast

Yep semi fittings will never go bad really. I agrre with on everything, had airbags on my truck though, but same idea..... I had a cheap compressor and it was loud and ran for days..... But I was one of the first to have airride in my town, so it was still sweet.(Had them like 4 years ago). also my fittings did leak one time and the truck was starting to rub the fenderwells and it almost popped my tire.
