AC Blower switch on the dash in a 91.5 Town car
A few years back I smelled burning wires when my ac dash blower switch was on half way. It stopped working in all the middle positions but works fine on full blast. It does have a slight delay before the ac kicks on though.
It works fine on high but I'm wondering if I can replace the switch behind the dash so I can have it on Max air but with a lower blower speed, like it's supposed to operate. With this forum's help I might just be able to get my TC back to perfect working condition, after I fix the window gear boxes, change the glitchy stereo, replace the air shocks...

Re: AC Blower switch on the dash in a 91.5 Town car
I probably have the whole climate control unit no individual switches. The delay is normal when you turn it on. Those 3 clutch bushings inside the window motors is a common problem as well as the air bags.
